In everyone’s childhood
experience, there must be some unforgettable memories. Some of them are sweet and happy, while some
other are bitter, or even making us feel frustrating. When speaking of the frustration I have been
through in my childhood, I thought of the process of learning to ride bicycle.
As a child living in city
for a long time, I have been yearning for the sense of freedom when riding
bicycle. However, my road on learning it
wasn't so smooth. At first, I couldn't
ride bike without auxiliary wheels nor can I steel it without others helping
me. So, whenever I ride bicycle by
myself, I couldn't find the balance and would easily fell down. What’s even worse is that I got serious injury
during the practice. I remembered
clearly that I burst into tears at the moment I fell onto the ground, since I
was hurt not only physically but also mentally because I couldn't figure out
the reason why I kept failing. Thus, I
became scared of riding bicycle and felt really frustrated about learning
it. Nevertheless, with the encouragement
of my parent and friends, I made up my mind to trying it again. After the tutorial of my cousin, I finally
achieve my goal of learning it and brought my faith back.
Through this childhood
experience, I learned how to overcome fear and frustration by adjusting my attitude
and state of mind. Be confident and
brave to accept the challenges would be the key to cross the obstacles in our
heart.
